Yoga

Yoga is integral to the services offered at Swellmama.  Included in Doula services are prenatal yoga sequences.  Classes are offered for prenatal, postnatal and children in various locations around the city.

Yoga is the perfect exercise for pretty much everyone! It is especially beneficial for mothers during pregnancy and following birth as yoga exercises gently stretch, strengthen and centre.  Breathing is core to the practice - as it is for labour and delivery. Many of the poses can be used as well during this special time.
